Tip Trucks are available in various sizes:
(Please note all specifications are provided as a guide only and may vary. For more detailed advice please contact the friendly team at Coast2Coast)

  • 6m3 single axel which carries approx. 9 tonnes
  • 10m3 dual axel which carries approx. 13 tonnes
  • 20m3 Truck and Dogs which carry approx. 25 tonnes
  • 20m3 semi tippers which carry approx. 25 tonnes

Things to consider before ordering your tip truck:
How many trucks do I need?
The number of tip trucks can make a huge difference to the time and cost of your project. You will need to assess what machinery you will use for loading the Tip Trucks and the amount and type of material you are loading.

How accessible is the site?
Site access and the turning capability of the machinery you employ is too often overlooked! If you have limited access please give us a call with site measurements and we’ll do our very best to help you find the right machinery for the job. Our experienced team at Coast2Coast will be happy to assist you in achieving the perfect combination of machinery and trucks to maximise the efficiency of your project.

Backhoes:
Backhoes are used primarily for earthmoving, being a combination of an excavator and a front end loader. They have a variety of attachments for different jobs. These adaptable machines are able to undertake tasks such as digging, excavating trenches, backfilling and levelling off sites. Their rubber wheels provide greater flexibility both on and off site and prevent damage to sealed road surfaces. Backhoes may be driven on the road so they are easy to transport from one site to another – saving you time and money.

Excavators:
Excavators are popular digging machines due to their speed and economy. With sizes ranging from 0.5 tonnes to 40 tonnes these versatile machines may be used for almost any digging project; from fence footings and landscaping through to building demolitions and high rise basements!

As excavators are track- based they are able to access rough terrain with little difficulty and their weight is distributed over a far greater area than a tyre- mounted machine. Some excavators are able to utilise rubber tracks to prevent damage to sealed surfaces. Chat to our friendly team at Coast2Coast if you think you need a rubber-tracked machine.

Here at Coast2Coast smaller excavators may be hired in combination with bobcats creating an extremely versatile unit. Not only that, but Coast2Coast offer a variety of attachments for excavators. A range of bucket sizes is also available and will alter to suit the size of machine and the job being undertaken.
